Charlie Meiklejohn is a Californian living in Glasgow. She is part of Christian Aid Scotland’s Church Engagement Team, and writes (and occasionally lectures) in Social Justice Theology. She’s particularly interested in the intersections of faith and justice related to food systems, climate, and gender. She has an MA in Social Justice and Humanitarian Development from Nazarene Theological College, and a background in communications and youth ministry. She and her husband, Graham (a theology lecturer), are involved in their local church, and have been known to talk about biblical socialism at dinner parties. In her spare time, Charlie knits in coffee shops, walks other people’s dogs, and aspires to keep her houseplant jungle alive.
