Jesus & Justice UK Podcasts

Are you looking for podcasts featuring activists, thinkers, community organisers and theologians who will challenge and inspire you? Here are some exciting UK-based podcasts we’re happy to commend to you.

The Hopeful Activists’ Podcast (Praxis Centre for Hope & Activism) will inspire you with bold stories from Christian activists – people who have embraced the ancient call to action and who will inspire us to do the same. We hear how well-known (and lesser known) projects started, and explore the stories of the practitioners, theologians, and pioneers involved.

The Passionists present The Common Era Podcast:

This is Common Era, a podcast where we bring two guests around our table to delve into questions about spirituality in an age of change. In the second season, they’re hosting a conversation between Annmarie Lewis, a leading business, youth and justice consultant, and Matshidiso, a composer, songwriter and podcaster with a background in human rights law.

The series is produced by Passionists, a Catholic monastic order in the UK. Passionist monks have a particular focus on social justice, finding ways to express practical solidarity with those who are oppressed and suffering; a 300-year-old community that shares a great deal of DNA with new monastic movements of today.

‘Common Era: Spirituality in an Age of Change’ is on the Passionists’ YouTube channel, or the audio-only version is available on all major podcast platforms, such as SpotifyApple or Google
