Seeking Treasurer and Social Media Coordinator
We are seeking volunteers for two positions with RLC UK. Descriptions are below. Please share with anyone you think would be a good fit:
Social Media Coordinator:
Description: The Social Media Coordinator manages the blog, social media accounts including Facebook, X, and Instagram, and sends out the newsletter.
Responsibilities:
- Regular communication with Co-Directors via WhatsApp, to review current organizational focuses and campaigns
- Regularly scheduled updates to social media accounts and release of newsletter
- Managing blog posts with authors
- If preferred, writing the occasional blog post
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of Facebook, X, and Instagram
- Excellent time management and scheduling skills
- Excellent communication skills with Co-Directors and blog authors
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience coordinating social media for an organization
Treasurer:
Description: The treasurer manages the bank account for Red Letter Christians UK
Responsibilities:
- Regularly reports organization’s current financial situation to Co-Directors
- Uploads receipts to RLC UK Google Drive account and reimburses members for approved organizational expenses
- Ensures payments from PayPal and Amazon are transferred into organization’s bank account
Requirements:
- UK resident who can provide proof of address and ability to pass a financial check
- Responsible for organisation’s Digipass: keeping in secure, accessible location
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience in managing an organization’s finances
