Living for Jesus and Justice

Let’s support Refugees in Myanmar to start their own businesses, schools and community projects!

It was so encouraging to hear Anji Barker from Seedbeds: Growing leaders – Growing communities reporting back on her latest time on the Thai Myanmar border where the longest current civil war leaves thousands stranded in refugee camos (some have been there for 40 years!). With support from the Seedbeds Change Incubator dozens of small businesses, from Tattoo shops to pig farms, have sprung up and are now being supported by local community leaders (who are refugees themselves)

Anji and the Seedbeds Team have identified 7 local Burmese leaders in the camps to coordinate programmes of refugee-led projects. It would take just 10 donors £600 a year to fund this local team. THEY HAVE FOUND 4 & NEED 6 MORE …is this something you can do?

Seedbeds leads regular visits to Myanmar to encourage local workers and bring investment into the new businesses. You can join this by asking fo information from the website below

If you can help financially please send you donation with the Ref MYANMAR to Newbigin School for Urban Leadership CIC
