Living for Jesus and Justice

Dave has spent over 30 years helping churches become active, socially engaged and justice oriented communities. In Watford, Luton, Central London, and now Brighton, he has led creative projects and initiatives that support marginalised people and bring positive change.

He now leads One Church Brighton, an inclusive church that runs a therapeutic farm space, barista training school, holiday hunger clubs, a speciality coffee roastery, a radical library and reading room, and a range of civic and political engagement initiatives. Dave holds a doctorate from Durham University, where he researched Christian outdoor spirituality and nature connection. He’s also is the Chair of Trustees of Justlife, a charity who work at a local and national level supporting those who live in temporary accommodation and challenging the systems of inequality that keep people there.

Dave will work alongside Sally Mann & Tim Evans to help us meet new opportunities to grow our movement. We are thrilled to have Dave on board.

We do not currently pay our Co-Directors. They are appointed by our Trustees and Core Team to help us action the priorities we identify together each year. For more information on our Governance please contact info@redletterchristians.org.uk

Red Letter Christians UK is a relational network for those who want to live for Jesus and Justice. Our focus is connecting and supporting Christian activists and community leaders across the UK. We aim to provide practical tools for developing advocacy and organising skills alongside deepening spiritual resilience. We seek out spiritual and tactical resonance, creating opportunities to pursue justice together. We aim to amplify prophetic voices from the margins who bring spiritual depth, experience and a healthy dose of challenge to national conversations.
